DIALOGUE: The three filters:
A pupil was rushed to the home of Socrates and started talking about this:
- Master, I want to tell you how your friend was talking bad about you. Socrates interrupted him saying,
- Wait Have you did pass through the filters than I gonna say?.
- The three filters ...?
- If Socrates replied. The first filter is TRUTH.
- Have you carefully consider whether what you're going ADEC is really true?.
- No, I heard from a neighbor ...
- But at least I've run through the second filter is goodness. Which means that what you tell me is good.
- No, not really ... quite the opposite.
- Ah, Socrates continued, then go to the last filter.
- Do I need to tell me that?
- To be honest, no ... it is not necessary.
- So smiled the wise, if not true, neither good nor necessary, you better forget it. ACTIVITY
